It happens in different places on the screen, usually just one at a time but occasionally multiple touches.
For now I resort to putting it into hibernation or having to do a full reboot, and it fixes it for a while but always starts up again. I've noticed it mostly in laptop mode, but that may be because that's how I use it most of the time. It closes windows, opens the keyboard and types, etc.
